Sandra shares some great advice on tackling the demands of her professional and personal life. What do you think? With the holidays approaching, how will you create calm with the extra stressors the season inevitably brings?

  • What’s one wellness ritual you’ll never quit? Meditation and reading my bible. Sometimes the two worlds collide, and that’s the best.

  • Name one food you could eat every single day. Kimchi… so yummy! I love almost all fermented foods. What’s good for the gut is what I run towards.

  • How do you create calm in the chaos of everyday life? Deep breaths and I remind myself to “just do the next thing.” Being a part-time working/full-time mom while running a podcast and other side hustles is EXHAUSTING, but I think in terms of eating an elephant. It’s just one bite at a time. I also have started processing through setting boundaries. “No” is a complete sentence, and it’s necessary sometimes.

  • What’s the best career advice you were ever given? Prioritize the things that matter to you most first, and the rest will fit. Trust me. At the end of your life, it’s the little stuff that matters the most. Do that stuff first.

  • What’s one thing you would tell your younger self? Think of ways to monetize what you know and look for passive income-invest early and often. It’s gonna be all right, Sandra; just keep your faith.

Would you like to be portrayed for our “Clinician Thriving” series? We’d love to hear it!
